Saturday, All day Long!

I don’t have a beer gut. I have a protective covering for my rock-hard abs.

We are up and ready to go!  The big day is coming, so we have a laundry list of things that must be done!  Robin joined Mary and Colleen, and they went shopping for goodies for the party!

While they were gone, I attacked the garage and did what my sone Joe suggested.  He had an excellent idea!

Now we can see clear across the three-car garage!

The workbench cleanup revealed some facts I was not aware of!  My collection of Makita drills was located and pout in one place!

A man can never have too many cordless drills but even I wonder about eight!

In the afternoon, Mary and I worked in the house and garage.  I got the garage looking pretty good!  The girls went to Knott’s Berry Farm.

Mary and I got cleaned up and awaiting Davinf and Dianne to join us for the short ten-mile trip down Katella to Downtown Disney, where we dined at Catal.

The walk through the throng of people at Downtown Disney was amazing.

Disney’s pumpkins were on display, every color under the rainbow!

We arrived at Catal in time to have a tiny drink before the girls arrived. Jeremy waited on us, and he was happy to see we were doing well.  The GM dropped by and said our table was ready.

So happy that the daughters get along so well!

David enjoyed the dinner and he loved to “people watch”!  We are the same age and enjoy the same things!

“Oh, the humanity of it all!”

Dianne ordered the calamari, and we all enjoyed that dish as it was passed around.

Calamari for one; Calamari for all!

We have several other pictures were are attempting to retrieve from the myriad of cameras used this evening.

I love my new toy, if we were outside and had a telescope, this is what we would be able to see.

Dianne and David have been Mary;s friends for three decades and I have known them at least twenty years!

An enjoyable evening was had by all!

After dinner, we decided to take a shortcut and see the decorated inside of the Grand Californian hotel.  That is always interesting.

We strolled through the Grand Californian Hotel.

The display was eatable, and the dentist would love you to eat it all!

380 eggs?  The Oogie Boogie cauldron looks delightful!

Oogie Boogie was in rare form this evening!

The bakers do an amazing job!

On the way to the car, another pose was struck!
The fearsome foursome strike a commanding pose!

All smiles; kind of makes me worry. What are they up to?

We arrived home at 9:30 PM and crashed.  It has been a full day and rewarding ourselves with a trip to Disneyland was a good choice!

About Paul
