Lightning Struck And Off We Go!

I get enough exercise, just pushing my luck.

We planned to go to my place and do some watering and move-planning. A great idea, I said to Mary, let’s have breakfast at old Ranch country club.  As we were being served, the phone rang. I picked it up, and it was Sydney. She said, “pop in the car and come to Anaheim Hills as soon as you can!” We made it to Anaheim Hills right at noon and visited the new possibility.

Before de departed Old Ranch, I ordered a red wine to go.  Scout, The Wonder Dog, likes red wine. He must be a bordeaux collie

“This is Sydney; I have such a deal for you!”

This house was perfect, all on one single level, almost 4000 ft.², no pool, and a three-car garage large enough for a workshop. Needless to say, we made an offer within about an hour of seeing it.

Just what we have been looking for!

What sort of cow helps with the gardening? A lawnmoo-er!

Perfect backyard for entertaining.

Welcome!

Connor is coming over this evening to have dinner with us and show us his brand new Audi automobile. It’s fascinating that a grandson in the mid-20s will take time out of his busy day to come to see the “old folks.”  Connor stayed for a couple of hours, and we had a great time.”  Children are the rainbow of life. Grandchildren are the pot of gold.

If I had known grandchildren were this much fun I would have had them first.

Getting ready for Connor to arrive and have diner with us!

We showed Connor the videophone and demonstrated it y calling Colleen and then Zack.  Connor will get his set up now.

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
