Welcome November

Whenever my wife sings, I have to go outside. Not to get away from her, but to prove to my neighbors, I’m not beating her.

Welcome Indeed!

Damed chest infection still there, so I called the doc and got a 12:20 appointment.  She could tell it was worse, so she gave me a breathing treatment, got a shot, and two more meds at the pharmacy1  on the way home, I had a great idea, let’s go to lunch at 2:30 PM which we did.  After lunch, I was so tired, I came home and took a nap.  Well, wouldn’t you know, the damned pharmacy prescription was NOT called in!  So, at 6:00 PM, I called the emergency number to get the on-call doctor to call them in; I am still waiting for a call-back!

The pharmacy closes at 8:00 PM, so we are in a race.  I cannot go another night without some relief.

I called back at 7:30 PM, and nop response; pissed is a good description of my feeling right about now!

It’s 11:00 PM, so I am hitting the sack.  If it gets worse, I will head to the ER (because I know all the doctors) and show them the slip from today’s visit and see if someone will call it in for me!

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
