We stayed home as the derned thing hurt so I took a pain pill and didn’t want to drive. We were disappointed as I wanted to tell everyone I was on a bar fight and you ought to see her!
On the way home form the surgery, I called Sue and told her get ready for lunch. We went to Taco Surf just up the street from us. I did the Pork Chili Verde Burrito which is stuffed with savory chunks of pork, homemade spanish rice & refried beans. This highly rated burrito is topped with cheese, fresh tomatillo salsa & avocado slices.
Arriving home we had a visitor! Mr. Egrett arrived and was just saundering uop and down in fornt of out house. The snowy egret is the American counterpart to the very similar Old World little egret, which has established a foothold in the Bahamas. At one time, the beautiful plumes of the snowy egret were in great demand by market hunters as decorations for women’s hats. This reduced the population of the species to dangerously low levels. Now protected in the United States by law, under the Migratory Bird Treaty Act, this bird’s population has rebounded.
In the afternoon we took a nap and at 6:00 PM made the final decision to stay home!
We watched TV and hit the sack a little early. Yes, we had tookies!!
