Friday The 13th And I Have To Be A Cut Up!

When you have exhausted all possibilities, remember this: You haven’t. –Thomas Edison.

The Sun came up and I was ready to go. The doctor’s office is about 5 miles away BUT in the mornings, I triple the time to get there. GPS was 11 minutes and it took me almost 40 minutes. Damn, I hate traffic.

Squamous cell carcinoma are generally treated by surgical excision, Mohs surgery. Today’s surgery is using the Mohs process.

Removed…twenty stitches!

We stayed home as the derned thing hurt so I took a pain pill and didn’t want to drive. We were disappointed as I wanted to tell everyone I was on a bar fight and you ought to see her!

On the way home form the surgery, I called Sue and told her get ready for lunch. We went to Taco Surf just up the street from us. I did the Pork Chili Verde Burrito  which is stuffed with savory chunks of pork, homemade spanish rice & refried beans. This highly rated burrito is topped with cheese, fresh tomatillo salsa & avocado slices.

Arriving home we had a visitor! Mr. Egrett arrived and was just saundering uop and down in fornt of out house. The snowy egret is the American counterpart to the very similar Old World little egret, which has established a foothold in the Bahamas. At one time, the beautiful plumes of the snowy egret were in great demand by market hunters as decorations for women’s hats. This reduced the population of the species to dangerously low levels.[3] Now protected in the United States by law, under the Migratory Bird Treaty Act, this bird’s population has rebounded.

Walking down the street!

In the afternoon we took a nap and at 6:00 PM made the final decision to stay home!

We watched TV and hit the sack a little early. Yes, we had tookies!!

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
