Saturday; Time For Fun!

There was nothing to stop things from falling into the house many years ago. This posed a real problem in the bedroom where bugs and other droppings could mess up your nice clean bed. Hence, a bed with big posts and a sheet hung over the top afforded some protection. That’s how canopy beds came into existence.

We got up bring and early and worked on the damned jigsaw puzzle…this one is amazingly difficult. The weather was kinda miserable, raining and “cold”…you know, in the 50’s.

We figured out why the chicked crossed the road… it was easier than we thought!

We stayed around the house until it was time to go to the Elks and dance. We had a load of fun with our friends. The “Jolly Corks” were having their meeting at the same time and we got visited by some of the participants.

Ed and Bob fell in love immediately with the “loose lady”!

Don’t ask… Don’t tell!

Ed & Kathy are going to join us Valentine’s Day for dinner so that is a good thing.

We departed the Elks about 9:00 PM as the music was a little loud for us. We came home and watched TV before crashing.

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
