An Uneventful Day

Oh Oh!  I remember when I was six, my family moved to another city.  It took me two days to track them down!

No walking today as Sue has an appointment to get her ears lowered!  Say what?  That’s what Paul’s father used to say when it was time for a hair cut!

After her visit to the hair cutter, we went home and had the last of the corn for this crop plus some other goodies.  We did  a few chores and then headed to our favorite destination, the dentist!

Dentist day and we have not been since last August. Good news and bad news.  Paul needs a root canal, that was the good news!  It’s almost time for a wisdom tooth extraction, that’s the good news.  It’s great to be old!

Paul learned his lesson!

After returning home, Paul got the car washed, to the market and filled the trusty stead with gasoline as we are going on an adventure tomorrow.

We called Colleen, who is a grandmother and approaching 45, because she is quite emotional about her grandmother, Juanita Feltz,  who is in the final days of her life.  At 95 years of age,  Juanita has had a good run!  We attempted to console her explaining we all have our time to go and she is going easily without pain.

Juanita Feltz, RIP!

We went to the Phoenix Club and danced until about 9:15 PM and then headed home to rest for the big adventure. P-s-s-s-s-s-s-t, it’s a secret!

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
