Just Working Around The House

Question Of The Day: Before Mt. Everest was discovered, what was the highest mountain in the world?

Paul hit the ground early starting with taking the middle bedroom closet and moving all of our Christmas sweatshirts into a vacuum sealed Ziplock handing bag…  Amazing… 24″ of hanging shirts reduced to 8″ with a simple suck from the shop vac!

In the afternoon we went to do some errands including getting a new lampshade for Sue’s Mom’s Chinese lamp… It has been in the garage for 19 years and it too pretty to trash but the shade was in need of replacement.  We then went to the lumber yard and got 10 feet of 11″ wide lumber so Paul could widen the mantle over the fireplace.  It was only 5″ wide before and nothing would fit on it… Problem solved.

We decided NOT to go dancing tonight and just keep resitng up.  Diane, Sue’s sister, called around 7:00 PM and she decided that it was a break at her school so she would fly down Wednesday afternoon and return home on Friday.  Time to checkup on her sister!

We are becomming Grey’s Anatomy junkies!

We stayed home and watched TV until about 10:30 PM and crashed… It was a good day!

Answer Of The Day: Mt. Everest; it just wasn’t discovered yet. You’re not very good at this are you?]

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
