Work Work Work + Estimates + Dancing… All In A Days Work!

We have a water leak!  Our water bill has been sky high so Paul checked the meter and without any water being on,  the meter was indicating usage.  We called two plumbers out and now have to make a decision.

While awaiting the plumbers, Paul worked in the front yard.  Working like a forty year old when you are seventy plus is “breathtaking”.  Paul filled two trash cans with fallen fruit and lemon tree clippings… The lemon tree is prolific. One major branch  was laying on the living room roof with 200 lemons on it.  Most of them were kinda green so we tossed them. We took about twenty into the house and Paul will use them up in a week!

Lemons by the loads!

In the afternoon, Sue did the treadmill and Paul managed the TV remote.  We watched a new Hallmark Mystery movie series and it was pretty good. Summary: While searching for a KGB double agent who was about to be exposed by another Russian spy-turned-successful author, mystery bookstore owner Samantha Kinsey and her secretive friend and store manager, Philby are thrust into the murderous world of international espionage. Stars Kellie Martin, Clarence Williams III, and Nina Siemaszko.

Before heading to the Phoenix Club, we stopped by Kobe for a drink! The staff was shocked to see us at the bar instead at the sushi bar!

Some libation before dancing

What do you think she looks like form the other side of the glass???  Do we see the back of her head? Puzzling!  Paul had to get up, walk around, and look.  He would not reveal his findings.

She kept an eye on us!

Someone asked us if we text…. Guess they thought we were too old!  So, we gave them the following lesson in senior texting:

Take that you silly keyboard!

We headed for the Phoenix Club to dance but we made a short stop by Kobe Steakhouse for our own private Happy Hour.  We have the birthday dinner coordinated with Connor so all is well!  To the dance!

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
