Sue had a hair appointment which got us out of the house by 10:45. Paul worked on the “computer systems” and cleaned up the calendars making sure the iMacs, iPad, iPhones and Laptops were all using the same iCloud calendar names and had similar colors on all the displays.
We ate at home and then worked on some of the upcoming webpages. We finished off Hans and Kerstin’s European Vacation pages. Around 4:00 we went to Happy Hour at Old Ranch to meet up with the Cathey’s, Bunnaford, the Schulte’s and a few others.
Afterwords, we went to Garden Grove Elks. We had made reservations for six and asked for a table of eight. The gang was split last night with several going to Santa Ana. We dined with the Finch’s and Mike and Bridgette. Bob and Donna joined us a little later. After an hour, many of the Santa Ana folks showed up including Pat/Margo, and Marianne/Craig/Linda (Marianne’s friend). Seems we made a good choice as the band (Street Corner Symphony) was their typical way to loud selves. Our table for six now had eleven people!
We danced until 10:15 and then headed for home where we watched two more Star Trek Discovery episodes.
We are in season seven and watched episodes three and four. We watched “Repression” in which Ex-Maquis crew members are attacked after a data stream arrives from Starfleet and “Critical Care” where the Doctor’s program is stolen and he is forced to work in an alien hospital, where he skillfully manipulates the system to provide ethical medical care.
We crashed about 12:30! Big day tomorrow.
