Indeed. We went to Temecula with Donna and Cyndy. Bob had to work because at the last minute one of his employees had to leave town. Yup! It was terrible… Just Paul and the three ladies… It’s a tough life but someone must do it! Join the fun!
We picked up Cyndy at Old Ranch as it is right on the 405 Freeway and easier to get to than driving the maze of Rossmoor.
We stopped at Falkner first to visit the wine tasting room and its staff. We had a wonderful lunch at Pinnacle and then departed for other wineries in the valley!
Paul was the designated driver so he had all sorts of time to kibitz around! Without Bob, he had to entertain himself… This can always be a little dangerous!
Paul, of course, is the adventurous diner and ordered the desert octopus!
Cyndy dove into the salad with her Mom sharing the six and a half calories it contained!
When it came time for dessert, the ladies of course said “no”… Paul, on the other hand, said “yes, yes and yes”!
Sue did an on-the-spot analysis of dessert and we decided it was excellent also!
We went up and down the valley tasting the wines. We ended up at Thornton because they have great champagnes! It was a delightful finish to a delightful day!
We drove back and there was zero traffic…. Back to Donna’s house in one hour! We dropped Cyndy off at Old Ranch before going to Kobe Steak House for cocktails and then we went home for the evening. We had to wave off Malarkey’s as we did not get back until 6:00 pm.
