Tuesday Means Golf…. Time For Exercise!

Sue requested Paul to get a collection of tomatoes from the garden so on our way to Old Ranch, we could drop them off to the Chef at That’s Amore.  As we arrived, the Chef greeted us at the door having a suspicion that the bags contained the promised veggies.  As he looked in the bag he was amazed at the size and colors of the tomatoes but really got excited about the Spoon Tomatoes!

Little guys! Very tasty!

We enjoyed a drink there before heading to Old Ranch!  We walked the front nine and met up with Lilly the Swan on the sixth hole!

Our phone keeps track of where we go!  We averaged one mile and hour…. Just about right!

Paul walked the course again!

Playing nine is quite OK and we will do that for a while until we start playing eighteen again!

We did the front nine

After Taco Tuesday in the Clubhouse, we took a ride around the course in the golf cart so Lilly could see Lilly closeup!  Thank goodness Daddy was on duty as Lilly wanted to jump in and see Lilly up really close!

Lilly meets Lilly!

After returning to the clubhouse, Lilly wanted to take Great Grandma Sue for another ride!  She did pretty good.  Lilly released the brake and was about to hit the gas when Daddy reached over and got the keys!  We could see it now…. Lilly and Great Grandma Sue heading across the 18th hole at 60 miles per hour laughing and giggling all the way!

Hang on Great Grandma.... Here we go!

Sue was not too worried!

"I promise to keep it under 65!"

“I promise to keep it under 65!”

We departed the ranch about 8:00 and headed home which is about 2 miles northwest of the clubhouse!  Tonight we watched more NCIS reruns.

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
