The Start Of A Big Weekend

We did some chores and got ourselves packed up for the “The Wedding Weekend“.  Our second oldest grandson is getting married Saturday at Green Mountain Ranch in Lytle Creek.  We headed out about 11:30 so as to arrive at 3:00 for a rehearsal.  We did not know that we were in the activities so we have to practice walking down the aisle.  Being grandparents has its perks!

The outdoor venue was perfect

The reception was adjacent to the wedding area.

The kids were pleased

The venue did a great job of having everything ready.

We practiced twice and got it right

After the practice, we headed back to the hotel for some drinks before going to “”The Old Spaghetti Factory for the rehearsal dinner.

Just us...

It’s going to be a long night.  We headed back to the hotel and proceeded to close the bar1  No worries, the bar closed at 11:00!

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
