We played golf and it was quite delightful. The day was just right. We did some Happy Hour with JR & Karen before heading for home to change and get ready to go to the Orange County Performing Arts Center to see “42nd Street”.
Based on the novel by Bradford Ropes and the subsequent 1933 Hollywood film adaptation, the show focuses on the efforts of famed dictatorial Great White Way director Julian Marsh to mount a successful stage production of a musical extravaganza at the height of the Great Depression.
Afterwards we headed for Jan’s home (our dear friend from various dancing venues) and visited with her until midnight. We had a load of fun sharing stories from our childhood…. Dinosaurs and everything!
We got home about 12:20 and crashed!
