We had a nice day… We had a great lunch with Herb and Irene. We went to Trani’s in Long Beach… Excellent service and excellent dining! Five stars! Phil Trani’s is not just a great place to eat delicious food, it’s like an all inclusive social club, where on any given day you might have the opportunity to rub elbows with sports superstars of the past, present, and future. you can see many of their autograph on Phil’s famous kitchen walls.

Just little ‘ol us!
After getting home we made tomatillo sauce from our garden.
We pick them all summer and freeze them whole
Cook them up with peppers and onions and magical spices
They get soft and the flavors multiply
We run them through the food processor and then cook them down to about 1/2 the original size!
We then went swimming/worked in the yard following by a time in the hot tub. We watched “Paradise” on the tube and then our standard one-hour series.
