Golf And Dancing…. Yeah!

We had breakfast with James and Ernie before playing 18 holes!  Happy Hour was super… James, Linda, Sue, and Paul.

We got the goody bags for the Camp Out and then headed to the Santa Ana Elks to listen to Tropic Starr….  Great band and loads of dancing!  Bob and Donna were there so it was automatically fun!  Ed Roberts stopped by for a few minutes!

So why golf?  Exercise, friends, and time with my bride!

I wore a pedometer a few times while playing. It took me about 15,000 steps, which works out to somewhere around 7 miles.

In addition to the zigging and zagging (assuming you don’t hit every shot right down the middle!), you also have to walk up and down hills. This adds quite a bit of distance.

Then, you have to walk from the green to the next tee. Even if it’s only 50 yards on each hole, that adds an extra half mile to the total distance.

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
