Another Relaxing Day!

We went to see “War Horse” at the Orange County Performing Arts Center.  We began by going to Seasons 52 for lunch. We love their flat bread so we have it every time we go.

It was a great performance and very well done.  After the play, we returned home to visit Flower.  Summary:  England, 1914. As World War One begins, Joey, young Albert’s beloved horse, is sold to the cavalry and shipped from England to France. He’s soon caught up in enemy fire, and fate takes him on an extraordinary journey, serving on both sides before finding himself alone in no man’s land. But Albert cannot forget Joey and, still not old enough to enlist, he embarks on a treacherous mission to find him and bring him home.

This powerfully moving and imaginative drama, filled with stirring music and songs, is a show of phenomenal inventiveness that is currently playing to packed houses in London and New York.. At its heart are astonishing life-sized puppets created by South Africa’s Handspring Puppet Company, that bring to live breathing, galloping, charging horses strong enough for men to ride.

We then headed for the Fullerton Elks to go dancing with our friends.  Lorraine joined us for the evening.  Please join the fun.

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
