It’s Thursday so we went dancing at the Phoenix Club. To our surprise, it was almost Donna’s birthday. It seems people of Donna’s generation (Donna, Sue, Vicky) celebrate for days. As Sheriff John would say… “Put another candle on your birthday cake, you’re another year old today”. Happy birthday (almost) Donna! Bob, the consummate husband, created the surprise celebration! They are great friends and a great couple!!!

Luck was with us tonight! Greg Leach, our friend, came over last night with a fresh loaf of zucchini-banana-nut-carrot bread which he made. It was a little too much for just Sue and Paul so we decided to take it to the Phoenix Club and share with our friends. We sent some to Donna’s table and it was a HIT!
