It Was A Beautiful Easter Sunday With Family & Friends

We began at church and got messages from Colleen, Joe, Jon wishing us a Happy Easter.  The sermon was excellent.  We then headed for the Newport Harbor Elks to meet up with Brian and Jan for an afternoon of dancing and visiting.   Afterwords, we headed for Disneyland (it’s tradition) and ended up at Catal for dinner with the Duda’s and the Finch’s.  We attempted to poison Brian by introducing him to Ghost Chilies.  Please join the fun!

Join the fun... Put out the fire!

After getting home we did the treadmill and then watched “Move Over Darling” with Doris Day and James Garner.  Summary: Five years to the day after his wife Ellen disappeared in the sea after a plane crash, lawyer husband Nicholas has her declared legally dead, remarries and sets off to Monterey with new wife Bianca. The same morning, Ellen arrives home after being rescued by the Navy from a desert island and follows to try and prevent the honeymoon developing further. Nick, still in love with Ellen, is delighted to see her but finds he still can’t break the news to Bianca, while Ellen equally hasn’t got round to telling the children she is their mother. Could get complicated.

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
