OMG! Half The Week Be Gone!

February 1865 is the only month in recorded history not to have a full moon.

We got up late this morning…too much doctorin’ last night…seven operations minimum! We puttered around the house for a while and then cleaned up as the cleaning people were due for their weekly visit.

Off to Taco Surf where we absolutely pigged out but we took a load of food home…we will be eatin’ Mexican for the next several days! Dang their food is good and plenty of it!! I did two hard taco’s, one beef and one chicken plus I ordered two _____ also!

Mitch may join us this evening for dinner and will be joining the birthday get together for Pete (and Lisa) this weekend. Love the family time!!! We are going to Trevor An The Tacks in San Juan Capistrano. Sue and I have been going there for 20+ years…it used to Sarducci’s..it was our southern orange county watering hole!

…and the trains rolls right by the side of the facility!

We watched some TV in the heat of the afternoon and then I proceeded to pick some figs for our friends. Our tree is loaded! The Japanese Beetle traps were worthless…I am about to take the traps down and beat the bugs over the head with the “traps”…oh well!

Late in the afternoon Sue came out to join the fun and I gave her a small tour of the new tools acquisitions…even showed her my miner’s lamps which, BTW, I used this evening when the sun went down.

Just us!

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
