We Wall Came Tumbling Down

If a cow laughed, would she spew milk out of her nose?

I admit, the title is a bit of an over statement. It was not a wall, it was a patio…and, it did not tumble, it was removed in pieces. Dramatics are gone, so is the patio!

Well, I recalled an old Laurel and Hardy movie where they strapped themselves to a house before working on the roof. So I borrowed from them (not thinking about the fact they ended up handing form the eves upside-down) and tied my waist to a rope and the rope to the fireplace chimney! Hey, it worked.

9:00 AM…How do iI get tot he top of the structure?

I used the Makita 5″ Circular Saw and made quick work of the remainders of the patio support structure. Using a little high pressure hose action and it ;ooks almost new!

11:00 AM Done! With Page One!

The trees and pumpkins will get a little more sun now plus I will get some more light in my office.

Easier to see the trees!

When the patio was done. we had lunch. While Sue did the Taco Surf left-overs, I whipped up a batch of bacon, ham. and eggs! Great way to reward myself for a job well done…and we did not have to call the paramedics once!

After lunch I got a call from Joe, our son and WOW…what a nice surprise. He got up extra early and procured six tickets to see the early Star Wars Land at Disneyland. I was going to try but figured out it would be swamped! Well, we are going with Amy, Joe, Charlier and Alex so I will make reservations at Catal for dinner! We are so looking forward to this event and getting together again!

We are bless with a wonderful Son and amazing Daughter-In-Law!

After lunch, a quick trip to the market and Alexa said it was time to go! I listened to the Barr hearings and just can’t image how childish the Dumocrats are being… the socialists will do anything to anyone to get their way…they made fools out of themselves! Lincoln was right! Wake up America!

Makes me so mad!

I loaded up the car and headed for home taking special care of certain groceries!

Be safe little ones!

Short nap before heading to the Phoenix Club for dancing with friends. We arrived and began to celebrate Nancy’s 86th birthday…Nancy and I danced and she can still dance my legs off! Our same table has been reserved for almost two decades!

We have had this table for almost twenty years…creatures of habit, perhaps!

It was Nine Karat Gold this evening. We hire them for New Years Eve to play for us and one hundred of our closes friends and family. Magnificent music and a funny group! All old and quite conservative.

Magnificent sounds!

We had a cheese stuffed pretzel and some wine between the dancing and sharing with our friends. Finally around 9:30 PM we decided to head for home and what did we see…the Disneyland Fireworks peeeing at us as we crossed the bridge onto the 55 freeway!

As we enter the Freeway, we spotted the Disneyland fireworks! We watched them for the next twenty minutes as we drove the 55 and north on the 405.

Home was lite up all in red thanks to my new toy… Looked like a house if ill repute! I quickly changed it to a soft golden glow as we we entered.

16 million colors and warm to cool whites. LED life-span – 22.8 years (based on 3hrs/day). These puppies will be working when I am feeding the fish!

I sent one to our son-in-law in New Hampshire and told him to make it flas red or green depending upon the mood his is in when he comes home from work…we will see what happens!

We now have eight and four more on the way! Fun with light!

A little TV and when the Coo Coo Clock struck midnight, we hit the sack! I guess that means all the coo coo’s went to bed!
