Hello! Another Wonderful Day In The Hood

Remember: There are no new sins; the old ones just get more publicity.

We started the day with blood on our minds…nothing bad, just a drop to the heart doctor to draw blood for next weeks appointment.  Paul stopped by his lab to give blood and he did not have his insurance cards with him so it was a no-go!  We returned home partially successful.

We had lunch and Paul headed to the garden for an afternoon of putting the veggies back into their cages and fixing the grape arbor.  Sue came out for a tour of the garden and was surprised by the corn!

From the True Stories Files:  Once upon a time Bob and Donna went out to dinner at a French restaurant and after dinner decided to walk over to a place that had dancing.  It was in a mall and the mall had several branches in it.  After a glass of wine or so, they decided to head for home.  Alas, when they departed and arrived at the parking lot… no car!  OMG, what happened.  They walk around for 45 minutes and finally went into the restaurant and called the police.

The police showed up and took the stolen car report and asked where they lived…well, as it happens, they lived about six blocks away.  The office said “Pop in and I will take you home”.  As the officer did a U-turn and drove around the building he said “That car over there matches the description you gave me!”   Oh oh…yep, Bob and Donna had moved the car is a spot they normally do not use and the car was not stolen after-all.  Everyone had a good laugh!

Higher than an elephants eye!  This gives “hide and seek” a new meaning!

Pal worked in the garden for a couple of hours before watching some TV and then getting ready to go to the Phoenix Club.  Great music this evening! We  danced until 9:30 PM at which time we turned into pumpkins!

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
