Visiting The USS Iowa Before Going To Malarkey’s

Paul started the day with the normal morning walk.  Must keep the ticker going!

We went to see the USS Iowa in LA Harbor and it was a real treat. Several hours of walking up and down stairs!  Please join our visit!

A fantastic engineering and history lesson!

After the tour we stopped at Ports O’ Call for a drink and time to watch the ships sail in and out of the channel. Ports O’ Call Village, located along the Port of Los Angeles main channel in San Pedro, is a seaside plaza that features souvenir and gift shops, along with restaurants, sweet shops, fish markets and quick-bite eateries.  This New England-style seaside village encompasses 15 acres of shops, restaurants and attractions. A meandering promenade of cobblestone streets connects the specialty shops.

We have been going there for over 50 years!

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
