We met up with Brian and Jan at the Sherman Gardens in Corona Del Mar. Sherman Library & Gardens is a 2.2 acre Corona del Mar horticultural retreat. The Gardens provide a museum of living plants, displayed amidst a setting of immaculate gardens, patios and conservatories linked together by wide brick walkways, beds blooming with seasonal flowers and bubbling tile fountains. We had lunch at Cafe Jardin before walking the gardens. Join the fun!

We then headed to Newport Center and tipped a drink at the Irish Pub (Muldoon’s) before walking next door to see “The American Sniper”… What a powerful movie!
Jan and Brian departed to see their tax person and we stopped at Cucina’s Restaurant for a quick drink before going to the Phoenix Club. We sat at the bar and looked at their menu and what popped out? Stuffed Fried Squash Blossoms
Herb ricotta + purple basil pesto + cured lemon aioli! Must have… now! We did and it was fantastic. We found several other great dishes with vegetarian emphasis! We will be going back!
Off to the Phoenix Club for an evening of dancing with friends!
