Estimated reading time: 2 minutes

We slept late this morning, and perhaps it was needed considering this week’s activities.  We didn’t do anything yesterday, but we did decide to dance at the Elks this evening.

At 9:45, we took off for Michaels to get a watercolor framed for Bob’s birthday (it’s a surprise).

On the way to the Elks Girls Night Out, we picked up and dropped off some dry cleaning, then went to the vampire’s office so she could draw some blood (with Mary’s help , and finally went to the Elks for lunch.

Maru always likes to be in costume!

We showed up in our matching Elks shirts from Hawaii, which reminded us of our recent Hawaiian adventure and of our many times at the Elks Lodge on Waikiki.

Look out, or you will be wet!!

Sandee joined us for lunch today, and Bill was still talking about the Pageant of the Masters adventure.

Great friends whom we will see tomorrow night for dinner.

George and Bob are alwats fun to be with!!

We dined, joked, and ribbed each other for 90 minutes.

“Someone” was still tired from Tuesday so we put her down for an hour or so before we go out and about again… we are like the Energizer Bunnies!

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
