It’s Only Fair!

Oh!  That was a bad pun!  Yes, we headed for the OC Fair again today and had a ball.  Please join us.

We met up with the Robert's, Kuhn's and Duda's... A great day

Time for dinner

We retuened home stuffed as a tick and ended up watching an old comedy from the 1940’s entitled “The Canterville Ghost“. Summary: In the 1600s, cowardly Sir Simon of Canterville flees a duel and seeks solace in the family castle. His ashamed father seals him in the room where he is hiding and dooms him to life as a ghost until one of his descendants performs a brave deed. Simon believes he may be saved when he meets Cuffy Williams, an American kinsman stationed with a troop of soldiers at the castle in 1943. Will this blood relative save the family honor, or will his blood be as yellow as the rest of the Cantervilles?

“The Canterville Ghost” is a popular short story by Oscar Wilde, widely adapted for the screen and stage. It was the first of Wilde’s stories to be published, appearing in the magazine The Court and Society Review in February 1887. Listen to it!

A great movie that brings back memories... B een watching it for 60 years!

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
