We played golf at ORCC today and it was great. 74 degrees and blue skies. We think of Jonathan in the ice and snow of New Hampshire…. Good place to be away from! We met up eith Bunny and Ernie at the 19th hole and enjoyed two glasses of vino before heading home to love the babies and watch a movie or two.
We watched “Topper“, an old black and white movie from the 1930’s. Just plain good movie making without all the blood and guts and violence and explicit sex of today! Summary: A fun-loving couple, finding that they died and are now ghosts, decide to shake up the stuffy lifestyle of a friend of theirs.
Then we went a little more modern with a Hallmark presentation of “Perfectly Prudence“. Summary: Jane Seymour enlivens this Hall Channel TV movie sequel to 2008’s DEAR PRUDENCE about a Martha-Stewart-like TV personality. This time there’s a corporate takeover and an attempted makeover of the show and an old lover who reappears. Valerie Azlynn is quite funny as the ditzy weather bunny who is being foisted on the show in order to improve the — harrumph! — demographics.
