Get ‘Er Done Day!

Fact: Fred Bauer, the Procter & Gamble employee who devised the idea of stacking Pringles into cans, eschewed an urn upon his death and instead asked that his family bury him in one of his signature cans.

We were busy today just doing stuff that needed to be done.  We did celebrate a milestone of sorts, Mary completed another 500-piece puzzle without the use of Exacto-knives and glue!

Now we transition to 300-piece puzzles!

Our friendly neighborhood plumber came by and serviced the tankless water heater.   Wr love the tankless and this plumber Dakota, was the one who made our kitchen sink instantly hot.  Now it takes 2-3 seconds and the water is at 130 degrees!

Looks like a lot of wiring for a water heater!

While he was here, the water softener guy passed by and dropped in two one-hundred pound bags of salt into the water softener.

While Dakota was here, I asked if he could run a gas line from the pool heater line to the fire pit.  We decided he would put a QD (quick-disconnect) on the pool heater wall and I would use by 24′ gas hose to connect to the firepit.  By doing that approach, I avoided digging up twenty feet of brick and I can also convert the BBQ to natural gas and hook it up to the flexible hose!

My next chore is to pressure wash the lava rocks.

I needed a new fire ring so Amazon to the rescue!  This ring will handle the 250,000 BTU energy source and shoot flames into the air to make sure we stay warm!  Once the ring arrives, I will clean the lava rocks and bury them in the gravel/sand and cover them with the lava rocks.  It should be pretty nice looking.

After the plumber departed, I went back to the garage and continued on the workbench. It is possible to work on it now!  To test it out, I installed a Google-Nest doorbell and it was easy!  I could find all the tools.

I found another drill, a grinder, and a power stapler that I had not even opened!

In the afternoon we went to the gym and spent an hour doing our workouts.  After the gym, we went by  CVS and picked up some goodies and then to Ralph’s market.  We had to get sushi for Jan, it is one of her favorites!

We had a very small dinner and then crashed watching TV for a while.
