5:00 am and Alexa goes off, reminding us we have an appointment at the heart doctor for some tests! We dragged ourselves out of bed, got ready to go, and exited the house at 6:45 am for St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Orange.
We arrived just in the nick of time, as the receptionist knew who we were. We were whisked into the machine room for a series of tests!
After the tests, we had 45 minutes to spare, so we went to the first floor and ate at Subway – an excellent choice.
At 9:15 am we headed back upstairs for the news and it was not great. Without a lot of detail, the old ticker is functioning at about 40% of what it should be plus the carotid artery on the right side is beginning to show signs
