As a father, I want my daughter to know she is braver than she believes, stronger than she seems, smarter than she thinks, and loved more than she’ll ever know.
Countdown: 41 days remain until retirement!
We have spent the last two weeks together and enjoyed every second of the visit. Now she must go and tend the flock in New Hampshire! 4:00 Am and the driver has arrived and off she went not to return until December! I told Colleen. “If you do something you’ll regret in the morning, sleep till noon.”
Colleen’s family has been missing her (maybe except for mark, just a joke!) She will be home tonight and back to the grandmotherly duties!
Today we went to visit Annie who is in failing health but hanging in there like a trooper. She is in her 90s and keeping Virgil out of trouble, sometimes!
We returned home about 2:30 PM and had a nice lunch; Mary fixed the plates I cremated a couple of Boca Burgers!
We watched Halloween Town with Debbie Reynolds and then headed into the Swim Spa to relax.
