The man who created autocorrect has died. Restaurant in peace.
Mary, no workie today, we had moving things to do! Well, actually, we drove out to Banning to visit Annie and Virgil as they are not doing super well these days. So Mary visited them, and I went to Walmart and visited the pharmacy. So it was a good visit.
We stopped at Casa Valencia on our way home, and I moved clothes and did all sorts of other preparatory items; the big move comes on the 6th. Then, at 4:00 PM, we declared victory and went to Mary’s to get ready for the Packard Club weekend festivities.
Why celebrate today? Well…
The old Packards ruled the road for many, many years. They were magnificent machines made with true American craftsmanship!
The Packard garage is in Santa Ana, and they do a lot of restorations.
We had dinner with several other members. Mary has been a member for a long time and enjoys the fun.
Being restored to its original condition; it looks like it just came from the showroom!
Outside, Diane and Mary stroll the lot.
They make the cars even look better!
Mary should have been a salesperson or a traffic director.
We had a lot of fun.
After getting home, we just crashed as tomorrow is a big day for us.
