Friday Be Here!

When an employment application asks who is to be notified in case of emergency, I always write, “A very good doctor”.

It’s Friday and Mary had to work, WORK! Maynard G. Krebbs would not like that a bit (Google it if you do not know what I mean!!)

She was off early so I stopped y and retrieved Scout so he could spend the day with me, after all, I am terrified of elephants. I got back o the house about 8:30AM and began my chores.  How do I keep having to do wash, I am a boy which means one pair of jeans a week ought to do!

At 10:30 AM Frank came over and installed new window treatments in my front room!  Damn, that sounded fancy… I think they call them curtains!

As we would say in the country, they are purdy!!!

I did some errands while the curtains were being put up and Scout stayed behind and helped Frank!

Robin came by at 4:00 PM but was not going to stay.  Mary called and gave we a 5:15 PM ETA.  Command decision time; I called Patty’s and made arrangements.  We arrived at 6:00 PM sharp and had a great time.

We shared a rack of lamb and an order of salmon!  Delicious!

Me and my baby!

By 8:00PM we were headed home; Robin stayed for a few minutes before going home.  She had a celebration with her sister tomorrow and wanted to pickup up Nick and Bob early.

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
