I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead; tomorrow hasn’t arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I’m going to be happy in it.
I arrived at Mary’s early as we have a busy day of chores. While she did her Thursday Zoom session with the lady professionals in OC, I took down St. Patrick’s Day, or should I say I tried. It is amazing, I thought I had everything, but when Mary came out of the office, she pointed out several decorations I missed.
Mary fixed a small breakfast because today is “Girls Night Out,” and we will be having lunch at noon. We walked Scout, The Wonder Dog, and did some mailings for Easter.
We chatted with Colleen for a while and then hit the road for Santa Ana. We arrived at noon and went into the lounge, and awaited Bob Z.
We have a lot of fun together!
After lunch, we went to the market to get needed supplies before going home. After putting them away, we went to the post office to drop off some goodies for Mary’s grandchildren for Easter. Then we decided to visit Janel Mongell, and we headed in her direction. Before we could arrive, Jan filled the table with snacks, and the wine glasses were out and awaiting us.
We talked to Jan until the Sun was starting to drop and then headed home to watch some TV before crashing. Today was busy! We were tired!
