R&R Until 3 PM

Ham and eggs. A day’s work for a chicken, a lifetime commitment for a pig.

Our youngest has a birthday today… We won’t tell her age but she is approaching elderly. Her and hubby are going shooting this morning…my kinda girl. Church this morning and target shooting in the afternoon!

So we attacked the puzzle this morning and we are making progress but I still have grey (and now soft blues) as the gazebo took several days to complete.

To the garage at 9:00 Am to continue working. The USPS guys just stopped by and delivered the TEKTON SAE 1/2-Inch Drive Deep Impact Socket Set I ordered yesterday.

Now I have an SAE and a Metric complete sets!

Talking to the USPS employee, he does 99% Amazon deliveries on Sunday, no US Mail. He said it keeps them pretty busy!

Having Alexa and the iMac in the garage is great! YouTube is a favorite when I am attempting to fix something and the Alexa is tied to the phone so I can answer the phone or do video messaging!

Just us!
Alexa and the iMac…friends!
(I watch my science fiction movies out here in the shop)

We watched some TV and then got ready to head to the Jam Session at the Santa Ana Elks! The new Elks Lodge is beautiful! First class! Join the fun as we are celebrating five (5) birthdays all at once!

Enjoying the evening!
Always something going on!

We really had a ball and departed about 8:00 PM for home. We decided to stop by Old Ranch for a drink before watching TV. Yes, we had tookies!

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
