Today The High Was 93 Degrees

I was thinking about old age and decided that old age is when you still have something on the ball, but you are just too tired to bounce it.

Another hot one today so we again stayed close to the air conditioner! The Spa repair guys came about 8:30 AM which was perfect…he fixed the problem in about 10 minutes and the spa is now on and heating.

Into the Silver Ghost and off to the local lumber yard…needed some brackets as I am finally getting all the chargers in the garage located in one single place. The shop is getting to look pretty good!

Th e east end of the shop!

In the afternoon the garden got attention…the corn needs water everyday as it is growing so fast.

You can almost hear it grow

Late afternoon it got to be 93 degrees so I returned to the safety of our air conditioning where it was a balmy 80 degrees. We watched TV until it was time ot get ready for the GG Elks.

Before departure, while awaiting the warp drive to come on-line, I checked the email and we got a picture of our daughter and family in London where they met up with Brian and Jan Finch!

We went to the GqArden Grove Elks and enjoyed a great evening. We danced to Jusstuss, the same band we are bringing to Sue’s 50th High School reunion next week!

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
