The Weak Begins!

“My wife – it’s difficult to say what she does. She sells seashells on the seashore.”

We started the day by working our our jigsaw puzzle. Why are Jigsaw Puzzles good for your brain? Not only are jigsaw puzzles excellent brain training and coordination improvement tools, they’re fun, too! Working a puzzle helps develop your abilities to reason, analyze, sequence, deduce, logical thought processes and problem solving skills.

We discussed loosing so many of our friends but we guessed it was normal if your friends are like ourselves, old! Sue’s Dad passed at 46 so she never thought she would live this long. I told her marrying a ‘Liles’ is a guarantee for at least 90! Only another decade to go!

Damn…more bad news. Aunt Kaye’s little baby dog died yesterday. She was so attached to the baby and Kaye is in shambles. We are glad we are going up to see her soon. Now we have to get her into a home as at 96, she just can’t take care of herself anymore.

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
