Remember: God gave you toes as a device for finding furniture in the dark.
The doc says “Do NOT get your hands dirty until the stitches come out” and Nurse Sue is all over me assuring I will got get dirty! No gardening, no workshop, one handed dancing only… Eh Gad! I may pull the stitches myself! I woke up about 5:00 Am this morning and the bandage had come off…I sneaked into the bathroom and put on a new one before she found out!
Sue had her ears lowered at 11:00 AM and I walked to the hardware store, about two blocks away to go “shopping”. After the appointment, we skedaddled to Seal Beach and had lunch with Robin! Always enjoyable.
Our son, Joe, called while we were out and we talked to him for quite a while when we were in the car. All is OK on the La Mirada front! We plan to get together soon for lunch for dinner and visit the varmints!
After lunch, we watched some TV before getting ready to go to the Phoenix Club for dancing.
The Phoenix Club was great this evening and we danced until 10:00 PM with friends the Zaitz and others. We had not been there for two weeks so everyone wanted to know what was going on!
