Father’s Day 2018

Remember: Becoming a father is easy enough, but being one can be very rough.

It’s Father’s Day Sunday and our family is off to Disneyland. Except for Jeanette, I heard from everyone including two ex-son-in-laws this morning so all is well and as expected. I got calls from Connecticut and New Hampshire which were appreciated. Life is good and we are batting 950 and that ain’t bad. Join us!

First stop, the Rainforest Cafe (which is closing in two days because of the expansion of Downtown Disney to have a new hotel)

Joe awaits arrival of his crayons!

The weather was “brisk” so Robin got a new long sleeved shirt for today.

The Duda’s are here in force!

We really enjoyed the park.  Joe, Amy and the grandsons had to go to a baseball game that they were supposed to lose so they cold return by 5:00 PM.  Alas, they won and could not make it back!

Bob and Donna joined us at Catal to celebrate Father’s Day.

BZ/DZ joined us at dinner

We had adult supervision this evening…Sue kept an eye on everything!

Keeping an eye on the boys

Here is the happy group…we really missed Joe, Amy, Charlie, and Alex!  Next year!

We are gathered together

We headed home about 8:00 PM and rested.  We walked about 5 miles today so the feet we in need of some “up time”.

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
