It’s Monday… The Week Begins Again!

Monday and all is well.  We had a great weekend and now ready to face another week!  The weather was terrific so we worked around the house with Paul finishing up some wiring in the garage.

In the afternoon, we took a nap and then got ready to go to Malarkey’s for our Monday evening meeting with Irene.  While there, we checked the temperature where Colleen lives, eek!  Too cold!

We checked the weather in New Hampshire

The sun set right on schedule and while not a magnificent sunset, the picture has a palm tree silhouetted against the setting sun.  Difficult to capture with the little iPhone camera but it worked!

Down it goes!

Down it goes, just like clockwork!  The sunset was at 4:45 PM today so we try to get to Malarkeys by 4:30 PM during the winter.  Irene and Paul shared a hamburger, a good thing!  The burget was good and the calories were cut in half!

The Sun be setting

While sitting there, Joe forwarded a photo of us with his family and in-laws form the kids Christmas Play.  We will be seeing each other again on Saturday and Sunday.  Love having the family nearby!

Joe sent his picture of our last adventure

Before we departed, Joe (Garcia) brought his little one by to say hello!  Irene snapped her up in a heartbeat.  We had to check Irene’s purse on the way out to make sure she was not hiding the baby!  She is cute as a bugs ear!

We had to check and makre sure Irene did not abscond with the baby!

We headed for home afterwords and watched a Christmas movie called “Miss Christmas”. Nicknamed “Miss Christmas,” the official tree finder for Chicago’s renowned Radcliffe Tree lighting is left desperate to find the perfect tree. A letter from a young boy promising his tree is perfect sends her to a small town where she learns the young boy’s dad isn’t willing to part with his tree. While sparks fly, she’ll be forced to confront what she’s really been missing for Christmas.

Miss Christmas is a fun movie with a happy ending

Then some Friends before crashing!

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
