A Day To Remember

That day is burned in our mind and will stay there forever. Damn be the cockroaches who perpetrated this event!

The event will live forever in our minds

In the afternoon we headed to Malarkey’s for a great evening of fun.  Paul has his Cioppino or “fish stew” which is really good and low in calories.

Did You Know: How to fix Cioppino – Heat oil in a large stockpot over medium heat. Cook onion and garlic until onion is translucent, 3 to 4 minutes. Add crushed tomatoes and their juice, white wine, water, and clam juice; bring to a simmer. Add crab, octopus, chunks of fish and clams. Remove pot from heat.

The sunset was fantastic so we played with the camera a bit.  Black and white is always pretty dramatic!

Sunset in Black and White

Allow the colors to come on and voila’, beauty with drama!

A beautiful sunset

We were alone today as Irene was out of town.  We headed home to watch a bit of TV before hitting the hay!

We hit it this evening!

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
