Off To The San Diego Fair

We started the day with a picture from New Hampshire.  Logann is having some difficulties and had to be moved to another hospital specializing in infants.  We know all is going to be well.

Cassie and Logann

We are off and running on this cold gloomy day to Del Mar and a visit to the San Diego Fair.  We arrived at 11:00 AM and the place was packed… We found out that it was “Free Ride Day”!

We began the day with a nice glass of wine followed by super grilled cheese sandwiches.  Paul bought five new aloha shirts to add to his collection.

The “bankie” was a life-saver

Miss Lisa was working this morning but she got off at 2:00 PM and joined us.  Her work was just around the corner so she walked!

A glass of wine gets the afternoon started

We passed the garden display and immediately thought of Zack and Logan the pooch!

Logan (the dog) needs one of these

Message to Joe… Let’s build some trains!

Super train setup

Lisa joined us about 3:00 PM and we jointly walked all of the hobbies and arts displays.  Great fun!  We stopped and visited the flower displays before heading out.  It was dinner time so we had Lisa join us for dinner at our favorite Mexican restaurant in Del Mar.

Dinner time

Yummy and spicey!

Great dining!

Sue was under the heater so she was OK!  Riding in the wheelchair is good for speed but it does not allow her to build up any body heat… Paul on the other hand was toasty!

Happy visiting time

On the way home we decided to go to Patty’s Place so we did and stayed until about 10:30 PM.  Great time with friends!  When we got home we watched Frazier and then crashed!

Did You Know? Frasier is an American sitcom that was broadcast on NBC for eleven seasons, premiering on September 16, 1993, and concluding on May 13, 2004.  The series was created as a spin-off of Cheers, continuing the story of psychiatrist Frasier Crane as he returned to his hometown of Seattle and started building a new life. Frasier stars Kelsey Grammer, David Hyde Pierce, John Mahoney, Jane Leeves, and Peri Gilpin.
