A Day In The Garden Followed By DooWop At The Cerritos Center For The Performing Arts

Another day of planting and working in the garden!  Sue did the treadmill and Paul planted another mess of veggies!  The garden is starting to look full!  33 kids of tomatoes so far this year and we have not done the front yard yet!

We cleaned up and headed for the Arte Cafe in Cerritos.  It’s a well hidden but delightful place to go!  It’s great when the wait staff know you and has your wine ready as you arrive!!

We had the Gunnersons, Zaitz, Kuhns and Branders with us this evening.... Great group!

It’s The Best of Doo-Wop Vol. II when the genre’s icons unite. Jam with Jay Siegel’s Tokens (Tonight I Fell in Love and The Lion Sleeps Tonight); Eugene Pit, original singer of The Jive 5 (My True Story); and Cleveland Still & The Dubs (Could This Be Magic, Don’t Ask Me to Be Lonely, and Chapel of Dreams). Also featured in the evening’s lineup are Lenny Dell’s Dimensions (Over the Rainbow and My Foolish Heart) and The Mystics (Hushabye and Don’t Take the Stars).

Doo Wop... The greatest music ever!

We didn’t get home until 11:00 so we just crashed… Sunday is also fun filled!

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
