OCPAC & Our Anniversary

Estimated reading time: 1 minute

Today’s extra special: my partner and I are celebrating our wedding anniversary and our three-day retirement anniversary—yes, we’re basically retired legends at this point. To commemorate this major milestone in professional lounging, we’re heading to the theater to see “A Dancer’s Life,” the story of Chita Rivera… because if anyone understands graceful movement, it’s us—gliding from the couch to the kitchen like it’s a Broadway number.

The show was terrific, and we were both impressed by Chita Rivera’s performance.  She is an American actress, dancer, and singer widely recognized for her work in musical theater.  In December 2002, she became the first Hispanic woman and Latino American to receive a Kennedy Center Honors award.  She was also awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2009.

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
