We planned an outdoor swim party for our friends at Peak Performance, but alas, Mother Nature had other ideas! It was not raining hard, just enough to keep everything wet. We planned for this possibility and set up tables and chairs inside, but if the rain stays at this level, we can also sit outside on the patios or under the gazebo!
A quick check of the weather report says the rain will cease at 1:00 pm, and since it is 82 degrees, everything ought to be dry by the time everyone arrives.
Whatever comes, we will always be ready!
It’s 1:00 pm, and the rain has stopped, and things are drying up! The party got underway on time, and Mother Nature was nice; everything was dry except for a few dribbles here and there!
Join the fun!! We had 18 friends and family join us for the fête. We gorged on delicacies from Verta. We got to rest for a bit before everyone arrived.
The food was ready to go, and everybody dug into all the goodies.
After dinner, people headed for the nice, warm 93-degree pool. Everyone departed around 7:00 pm, and Sydney, Robin, Mary, and I jumped in the pool and rested and jabbered for another hour.
