David Reidy, RIP 1942-2024

We got a call at 1:33 am from Dianne, and she reported that David had passed peacefully at the hospice care facility.

His family and friends will sorely miss him!

We immediately jumped in the car and headed to Dianne’s house. We picked her up, went to the hospice facility, and stayed with David for an hour before taking Dianne home. David was like a brother to Mary, the brother she never had.

We got up again at 8:00 am and checked the garden to ensure it was OK since we expected it to be 104 degrees that day!

Remi is six today!  Our great-grandson is a pistol!  Happy Birthday Remi!!  He and Mommy are at the ballgame!

Happy Birthday, Little Man!!

At 10:30 am, we headed to Dianne’s to join her at the mortuary.  We took care of business and then went to lunch at  Benji’s NY Deli.  Oh my, it was piled high!

The meal was outstanding!

After returning home and dropping off Dianne, we got gussied up and headed to Campus Jax to see John Tesh!

Yeah, Yeah, the gang’s all here!

We had perfect seats and did a lot of toe-tapping as John played!

A tiny glass of wine helped soothe our nerves.

Tonight, John had a quartette, and they made beautiful sounds!   The show was copied to YouTube, and here it is:

They were amazing!

John even mentioned the Lord and quoted pieces of the bible; so very refreshing!

Vicky got to visit him for a few minutes!

They are now besties!

The show was over at 9:00 pm and we headed to Aces for a nightcap nefore going home and visiting Scout.

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
