We had a busy day today. I dropped off the van at the Firestone Tire store to get new tires. Mary picked me up with Precious. From there, we went to Mary’s doctor’s appointment in Newport Beach and had lunch at the American Legion on Balboa Island.
A magnificent day at the beach!
I selected the burrito special, which was outstanding; I ate every bite and almost licked the plate!
Lunch was amazing!
The sauce was made from tomatillos, and it was perfect.
I almost ordered one to take home with me!
Mary was a good girl and did a salad!
The salad was terrific!
A burrito means a glass of wine is needed to wash it down!
It was a magnificent day at the Legion; the weather was perfect, and my partner was fantastic!

After picking up the van from the Firestone store, we realized it had been two months since we last saw Jan. We decided to visit her and promised to start seeing her more often once she’s ready to go out and join us.
We went to Ace’s and had a glass of wine before returning home to pack!
