We took the opportunity to do several errands before going over to see the doctor in Los Alamitos. First, we dropped by CVS, then we headed to the Elks for Girls’ Night Out.

From the Elks, we went to Huntington Beach to pick up my new set of glasses at Mary‘s office. After that, we went to Old Ranch country club and had a little bite to eat and a glass of Vino. Then we went to Long Beach to visit the doctor. On the way, he picked up the results of the CT scan.

Mary checked in and carried the current medical history with her.
The doctor looked at the CT scan and told us to head for the emergency room at Los Alamitos hospital as they were going to have to drain some of the liquids that have accumulated around the surgery won’t.
We were smart and stopped at Paul’s Place for a big juicy burger. We hit the ER at 6 PM, and I finally got settled into room 202A at 11:30 PM that evening. Mary stayed with me and headed home at midnight. I do not know what I would do without her!
