Weed;TV;Chores;Visit;Dance – We Have A Busy Day Ahead!

Fact: Figs aren’t considered vegan because they have dead wasps inside. Anyone who sticks to a strictly plant-based diet will want to remove figs from their repertoire. While the figs themselves are fruit, they often include bugs. Vegan Life explains that a female “wasp will enter the fig, passing into a part of the plant known as the calimyrna” while trying to lay her eggs. “Eventually, she dies… and is broken down by a protein-digesting enzyme inside the fig.”

It’s Sunday and time to unwind, so we did!  We accomplished a mess of little chores around the house, and Mary completed her detoxification of the office!   It sounds silly, but I fixed the cables in the family room and found out why the family room wifi was so slow…darned thing was plugged in wrong.

Scout seemed preoccupied in talking to the neighbors dog, I listened in to find out what all the noise was about.

In the afternoon we ran to CVS to get some meds and returned via Ralph’s to bring Jan some goodies.

At 4:00 PM, we went to the neighbor’s home and attended a “rally” for a city council person.

Interesting and a conservative! Yeah!

At 6:15 PM we departed for our weekly dance in Chino and dance until 9:30 PM.  We were tired so we crashed.  It was a busy day!

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
