Fact: When we relax, the flow of blood increases around our body giving us more energy. It helps us to have a calmer and clearer mind which aids positive thinking, concentration, memory and decision making. Relaxation slows our heart rate, reduces our blood pressure and relieves tension.
It is Sunday and we decided to do nothing today except what might be fun. I worked in the garage most of the morning and Mary worked in the kitchen. She came up with several delightful meals and I got the car such that you can go in the garage with no problem.
Mary needed some items from the market and I volunteered to go; I asked Scout if he wanted to go with me and he said, “sure”. Well, it took longer than we thought at the market because I was after such items as capers, sliced olives, and other delicacies required by Mary’s new recipe. When we arrived home, Mary was tapping her toe wondering where we were. Maybe, being very brave, set the dog in first.
The rest of the afternoon we watched another French series that was on Netflix and it also was very interesting. We decided not to go into the spa tonight as it was a little cool outside. We headed for bed around 8:30 PM and watched a little TV before I dozed off.
All in all, it was a great day; we needed a day to just relax.
