Hello Monday, A New Week Starts

Thank God It’s Monday” ~ My Liver

It’s a workday for Dr. Mary, so she was off to Huntington Bach bright and early.  Scout and I had plans also; The Silver Fox needed his 10,000-mile checkup at Cerritos Lexus. I dropped Scout by my place, and I went to Cerritos, where I stayed for three hours; it was a long time.

By the time I was done, Mary had called and said she was on her way home.  Well, I headed to my place, played with Scout, took a shower, and packed up the car with the St Patrick’s Day Instant Pots.

When I arrived, Mary had just got us In-N-Out burgers; Oh MY, how nice.

Yummy and good for the tummy!

We finally got together at 2:00 PM, and we went shopping at Bed, Bath, and Beyond.  We picked up some pillows and other goodies.

We were still hungry, so we decided to drive to Rockwell’s, and then it dawned on us; I had a case of wine in the car, and Jan’s place was a block away.  So, we stopped and visited Jan for a good hour or so!

We swapped stories and drank wine, a good thing to do!

She is so delightful; she brightens our day!

We talked about real estate, and I remembered Marilyn Bailey was only a few blocks away, so I called her, and we decided to visit her.  My goodness, we talked with Marylin for another hour and killed off a bottle of vino.

We got home about 9:00 PM and quickly watered the baby; Scout had his legs crossed, and his eyes were yellow!  We didn’t even turn on the TV; we crashed.

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
