Can I be your ophthalmologist ‘cause I can’t stop looking into your eyes?
At the crack of dawn, I was up and got ready to get shot. I peeled out at 8:00 AM sharp to be early for the 9:00 AM appointment. Well, when I got the Disneyland, there was no one there. I drove into the parking lot with perhaps ten other cars? What was going on? I really did not care because I was shot at 8:41 and was on my way to Mary’s at 8:56 AM.
Mary purchased a world map and then gave me a dart and said, “Throw this and wherever it lands—that’s where I’m taking you when this pandemic ends.” It turns out we’re spending two weeks behind the fridge.
Returning home, we hit the yard with vigor. We planted plants, picked some weeds, and I spend an hour in the lemon tree getting it ready for the blossoms to unfold. We move the orange tree (in a pot) from the shade to the sunlight, which should make a difference.
I did several odd jobs, including moving an artichoke plant from the shade to the sun. We spend a couple of hours working in the garden.
OK, work is over; time to play! We got cleaned up and were ready to rumble at 5:00 PM. We popped into the var and headed to Chino Hills, where we had dinner with Donna and Bob.
Check out the matching shirts! We ordered these separately from Amazon, not knowing we were ordering the same shirt!
Before dinner, I had to have a new drink called “Dragon’s Breath.” It came with a glass top on it, and when opened, a puff of dry-ice cloud billowed out. It was neat! Not a bad drink, but needless to say, my limit was one!
Donna and Bob are always a joy to be around!
Dinner is over and our tummies full, so it is time to dance it off.
When we arrived, our table had a vase on it filled with goodies from Bridgette and Mike. It was the vase Mary used to give Bridgette flowers on Thursday.
Mary saw the lights and immediately went into her soothsayer mode. She did not have her tall Turbin hat, but that was OK for the evening.
We danced and danced and headed home because today was a full day!
